Let me remind you that the flight design test program for the lunar flyby ship “7K-L1” (11F91, “Zond”) included 10 unmanned launches. Then the first manned flyby of the Moon was to take place, initially scheduled for June 26, 1968, and subsequently repeatedly shifted to a later date.
