A comparison of archaeological and linguistic data with biblical texts within the framework of the original author’s concept of the history of the Ancient East allows us to consider the Old Testament as a full-fledged historical source and restore the ancient (pre-state) chronology of Israel and neighboring peoples of the Middle East from the 9th to the 2nd millennium BC era.
