The Socialist Party of Latvia has prepared and published a unique publication telling about the creation and activities of the party during the difficult years of its formation. Volume 1.

After reading the articles of the current party chairman Alfred Rubiks and the first party chairman Philip Stroganov, you will learn:

how they tried, but could not find evidence of the anti-state activities of the Communist Party of Latvia and how Alfred Rubiks was imprisoned and how the fight for his freedom was carried out; about the conditions under which the party was created in 1993-1994; who stood at its origins and who prevented its emergence; about how Alfred Rubiks was not given a mandate as a deputy of the 5th Seimao; to the work of the opposition faction “Equality” is about how an association of parties called ZaPCHEL was formed and then collapsed

The book summarizes the experience of the party and its activities over a period of more than ten years. Documents have been collected and published: the first charter and program of the party, reports and resolutions from party congresses. Volume 2, which includes the period from 2006 to 2014, is currently being prepared for publication.
