An expedition was supposed to set off on the alien ship of the Ancients: but it just went wrong, funny as always. Instead, all three hundred people found themselves aboard an unknown Ancient ship, radically different from the Destiny: the ship where the group was heading. Among the civilian specialists and three platoons of the military contingent of the East Kazakhstan region, there is not a single trained space pilot to work on this type of ship, and the only one who at least somehow understands how to control it is a stubborn C-grade student-handyman, a vocational school graduate with minimal knowledge in mathematics, physics and astronomy.
