Rainer Rome was not a Wehrmacht soldier, and yet the Second World War took its toll on him: in 1945, in Manchuria, he was arrested by the Soviet intelligence service on suspicion of espionage against the USSR. After several months in prison, Rome finds himself among those directly involved in the crimes of Nazi Germany - in a camp for German prisoners of war. In his memoirs, Rome describes the camp existence of the prisoners: hard work, hardships, homesickness, but these details are unlikely to amaze the domestic reader, who is well aware of the conditions in which prisoners of German death camps were kept. The publishing layout of the book is saved in PDF A4 format.< /p>
