The life of football player Alexander Panov had it all: a difficult childhood and bad company, alcohol and drugs, a struggle with himself and circumstances. And it was football that was able to radically change his life, make him believe in himself and his strength. The athlete made a difficult journey from a children’s football school to the “base” of Zenit and the Russian national team, in which in 1999 he scored a famous double in an away match at the Stade de France against the then-current world champions, the French national team. These two goals became fateful for the Kolpino Rocket, finally securing his status as a star of Russian football.
