In the short chronicle of "Dirizhablestroy" it is filled with a number of remarkable events - successes and failures in the construction of airships, important milestones in the history of the future city of Dolgoprudny. The author talks not only about the design, production and testing of aircraft, but also describes the social and everyday life of the enterprise and the village based on articles from the local newspaper “Soviet Airship Operator”, which began publication in January 1934. Thus, this book is not just a story about the short but romantic era of airship construction, but also a unique slice of everyday life of that time.
