Anna Nemzer was born in 1980, graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of the Russian State University for the Humanities. The chief editor and presenter of the Dozhd TV channel, co-author of the Museum of the 90s project, studies historical memory and the blurring of boundaries between history and politics. The debut novel Captivity (2013) was dedicated to a traumatic war experience and became a finalist for the Ivan Petrovich Belkin Prize. The novel Round is built on conversations.
