I thought I had already seen the worst of Night Creek, but I was wrong. This toxic city just got more fucked up. There's nothing worse than having a joy bomb dropped in my lap with the intent of knocking me off my feet. And I hate to admit the truth, but maybe this will work. I can't be here anymore, but any attempts to escape fail as I fall further into the constructed image of an Asheville high school whore. I'm exactly where they want me was. Pain, ridicule, their failed attempts to break me do not stop my irrational need for them. I think I must be broken, just not in the way they want me to be. I'm ready for whatever this city and the "stars" can throw at me. There's no room for secrets or surprises in my life anymore, right? My father taught me to be resilient, to be fierce. They haven't seen anything yet.
