From generation to generation, from century to century, even after the Savior came into this world, even believing Christians and even, what is most offensive of all, Orthodox Christians, make the same mistake, step on the same rake. We are poisoned by sin so incurably that our consciousness, our mind flatly refuses to understand the Words of the Holy Fathers: “With God, everyone is alive!” That is, even the most “advanced” can only agree on this: yes – they are alive There! But the fact of the matter is that we are all alive only here, and whether we move from here to eternal life or to eternal death - only our Lord Jesus Christ knows about this.
