Full of feelings, tenderness, and soft irony, a novel about a family spanning more than a decade. The young rebel Rose has disappeared, her younger sister Clara spends her days at the window, hoping to see her return. The girl watches as an unfamiliar man enters the neighboring house. Clara knows very well that Elizabeth, who is now in the hospital, lives alone in the house. Clara promised her neighbor to look after the house, and most importantly, the remaining tenant, Moses the cat. The story, told from three points of view: Clara, Elizabeth and Lime, who has moved into the house, shifts the focus from one character to another, revealing new layers of dramatic events, past and present, love, bitterness, affection, alienation. A wonderfully written, slightly disturbing and very human novel, in which there are no raging passions, but there are many sincere and deep feelings.
