Everyone knows the word “postmodernism”, but few people use it for its intended purpose. And if you write that the novel “Culture Hero” is a brilliant example of postmodern prose, potential readers will get scared, turn pale and run to the ends of the earth. Therefore, you will have to cross out the terrible word “postmodernism” and say that this book is akin to a barricade built by children who climbed in to play into the treasury of world culture and who staged either a funny fight or a real revolution there. Their original intentions don't matter because it ended in an apocalypse, which means the game was a great success.
