His name is Grimnir, and he is the last of his tribe - the last in an ancient line of monsters that have been the scourge of mankind since ancient times. Filled with a thirst for revenge against the murderer of his brother, Grimnir sets off into a world where a new faith already reigns. The old paths are overgrown with grass, those who followed them are hidden in the shadows, but Grimnir inexorably moves towards his goal: leaving behind the Danish fjords, where the wisdom of the ancient gnomes gave way to madness, he finds himself in the war-torn heart of England, where the forests fight with each other perfume.
