The author of the action-packed novel in the stories “I Look at the World Through the Eyes of a Wolf” is a well-known person in the criminal community. He has three convictions behind him. The latter - for premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances - automatically placed him in the category of especially dangerous criminals, in the category of people forever rejected from normal society, of interest only to the administration of the camps, and when they are released - to the departments for combating organized crime and MUR.But Evgeniy Monk (pseudonym) managed to find the strength to change his seemingly forever ruined fate. To a large extent, the fact that by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation his last sentence was humanely reduced from 13 to 10 years played a role here. The monk does not pursue moralizing goals in his story, he simply and truthfully gives a picture of today’s criminal world that has overwhelmed Yekaterinburg and the whole country, shows a still little-known wave of the domestic mafia, which easily makes contact and partnership with both law enforcement agencies and commercial structures. For this, the author chose an original literary device - the narration comes from the first person - a professional killer and the leader of one of the Yekaterinburg gangs, nicknamed Monk.
