This publication brings together twelve interviews and conversations with Cartier-Bresson dating from 1951 to 1998. They reveal Cartier-Bresson as fascinating and passionate. He talks about photography, reflects on the state of the world and looks back on his journey. These statements, relating to a period of time almost half a century long, also allow us to see the evolution of the photographer’s thoughts: he returns to certain topics, changes his point of view, sometimes contradicts himself.
