The book was prepared for the 90th anniversary of the birth of Anatoly Pristavkin, a writer, author of many novels and essays translated into more than 30 languages, including “The Golden Cloud Spent the Night,” Chairman of Russia’s first Pardon Commission, Laureate of the State prizes in the field of literature. The collection includes his diaries, letters, articles, as well as unique photographs from the personal collection of the writer’s family and autographs of his friends, outstanding figures of Russian culture. The publication includes two poems by A. Pristavkin, which, according to the decision of the writer’s widow and daughter, will never be written again will be published.
