The forces are aligned. Two Deliverers at two poles. On one is Ahman Jardir, armed with the Spear of Kaji and guarded by the magical Throne of Skulls. With him are his ambitious wife Inevera and his crafty adviser Abban. On the other is the Marked One, Arlen Tyuk, who tasted the flesh of demons and acquired their supernatural abilities. With him is his beloved Renna and his faithful friends: the herbalist Lisha Scroll and the violinist Roger. Both Deliverers are ready to fight the demons: the full moon is approaching. Angered by the murder of the prince, the prince consort himself intends to welcome him to the earth's surface. He wants to create hell, the likes of which people have never seen. But it will happen at night. Then there will be a day when the Deliverers will go out to battle each other during the day.
