Kizito Mihigo's autobiographical book was published in French last year. A year has passed, and this book is being published in Russian translation. Kizito Mihigo (07/25/1981—02/17/2020) is an outstanding contemporary Rwandan composer, singer and public figure, whose tragic fate is closely intertwined with the history of Rwanda. The narrative covers a period of about twenty years, from the 1994 genocide until Kizito was imprisoned as a “prisoner of conscience”: his song, composed for the 20th anniversary of the genocide, contradicted the nationalist interpretation of those events promoted by the official Rwandan regime. The book reflects the difficult spiritual search of modern man, who finds himself at the forefront of the historical process. The suffering experienced by himself, his family, and finally the entire people of Rwanda, did not embitter him, but led him to Music and God - Kizito Mihigo served them all his life. The publishing design is preserved in PDF A4 format.
