Сюжет, що обертається навколо колишнього поліцейського Тоні Валентайна, який прагне помститися за вбивство свого зятя, вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Я був вражений, як автор вдало поєднує особисту історію Валентайна з розслідуванням крадіжок джекпотів ігрових автоматів. Кожен персонаж, від головного героя до злочинців, прописаний дуже детально, що робить їх реалістичними та зрозумілими. Я не міг відірватися від читання, адже кожна нова глава приносила нові несподіванки та повороти сюжету. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить захоплюючі детективи з елементами трилера!
