The purpose of the textbook is to help students studying the “Python for Data Analysis” course acquire systemic knowledge of the basics of programming in the Python language and master working with the standard capabilities of the language and its libraries at a level sufficient to solve problems of data processing and analysis. The basic elements and syntactic structures of the Python 3 language are examined. The basic methods and techniques for working with series and tabular data using popular Python libraries are described. The publication contains a thematic plan, theory with examples of program code, tasks for independent work and a list of sources used.
