Hokusai is one of the leading masters of color woodblock prints of the Edo period and one of the most famous Japanese artists in the world. He is well known in Europe and Russia, a lot is written about him, his works are researched and studied, exhibitions of his works are regularly held in different countries, documentaries are made about his work. Hokusai was one of those masters with whom the discovery of Japanese art as an independent artistic world began, one of the first to become famous in the West. Hokusai's legacy is enormous. He lived a long life, almost 90 years, and during this time he created a large number of works. These include easel engravings, book illustrations, painted scrolls and screens, and monumental paintings. Today there are about thirty thousand pieces of his work. This colorful mini-album presents both works from the most famous series of the great master, as well as his little-known works. The publishing layout of the book is preserved in PDF A4 format.
