The brochure is one of the first domestic publications that summarizes the experience of Western European gardeners in the use of green fertilizer in garden plots. It talks about how certain types of cultivated and wild plants can be used to increase soil fertility and improve plant nutrition. Green fertilizer has the advantage over mineral fertilizer that it not only supplies the plant with nutrients, but also enriches the soil with organic matter, promotes its health, improves water and air conditions, and is also cheaper. In our country, green fertilizer is currently used only in field cultivation , and the publication of this brochure is the first attempt to disseminate the accumulated experience also in home gardening.
