Asya is happy with her husband Sergei - he is a doctor and older than her, with him she feels like behind a stone wall. Everything is fine at work, too: Asya teaches choreography to the children and performs the ballet “Romeo and Juliet” with them. But one day, on her way to work, she decides to take a shortcut and passes through a wasteland. There she meets a strange passerby who immediately says that he will die without her. Asya barely manages to get rid of him, but for some reason this meeting cannot get out of her head. She has nothing in common with this person, she doesn’t need him. But for some reason, Asya thinks about him more and more often and in the end decides to find him, not knowing what she is risking... In her novels, Tatyana Bocharova synthesizes different genres: this is a detective story, a melodrama, and always a lyrical story about human feelings and experiences. Its heroes are ordinary people, our contemporaries, who, by the will of fate, found themselves in a difficult situation. They have to make a difficult choice, understand the jungle of intrigues and deceit, not break, survive, help not only themselves, but also those who need their help.
