The collection includes memories of direct participants in the events at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in 1955-2001. The authors talk about many events, facts, episodes of work, service and life of testers unknown to the general reader, their hobbies, for the first time they name all the heads of the cosmodrome and their deputies, showing the hard work and the range of tasks that they had to solve at Baikonur.
