In August 1888, secret agents Stepan Faberovsky and Artemy Vladimirov (aka Gurin) arrive in London. The head of the Department of Foreign Agents, Rachkovsky, instructed them to carry out a political intrigue in order to neutralize the Russian revolutionary emigration.
