The main character of the book by modern Russian writer Sofia Yakovleva is a six-year-old girl Nastya, Naska. Together with her parents and younger sister, she goes to a recreation center on the shore of the lake. They pick mushrooms, sail on a boat, watch the water lilies grow, and it would seem that nothing unusual happens. But the lyrical, sincere narration from the child’s point of view is fascinating, and even the most indifferent reader awakens in his heart a love for his native nature.
