This book is dedicated to the history of the Russian rural clergy at the beginning of the twentieth century. The study is written on the basis of numerous archival documents, periodicals of the early twentieth century and published sources. A description is given of the life and everyday life of the clergy, their material support, their spiritual and moral state.
