Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Reserve Service Andrey Kanev was born in 1963. He served in the divisions of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Russia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Komi Republic as the head of a department and deputy head of a department. He repeatedly performed service and combat missions in the North Caucasus region, his military achievements were noted with state and departmental awards. Corresponding member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts, as well as the Russian Academy of Military Historical Sciences.
