Sigmund Freud (1856–1939) is a famous psychiatrist, creator of the theory of psychoanalysis, whose name is known even to those who have never read his works. At one time, Sigmund Freud's idea about the influence of the sexual instinct on the psyche and the development of human society produced the effect of a bomb exploding. The theory of the unconscious, which influences all our actions and deeds, and of sexual attraction as the main driving force of the individual and society as a whole, still causes controversy in the scientific community, but it is impossible to deny that Freud’s teaching on psychoanalysis made an invaluable contribution to the development of all world psychology. The collection includes works reflecting a wide range of interests of the author: “The motive for choosing a casket”, “On making fire”, “Plots of fairy tales in dreams”, “Neurosis of the devil in the seventeenth century” and others.
