But you have to remember. Why did it happen so? What really happened? The hero doesn’t know too much; he and the reader are on an equal footing – as if he’s conducting an investigation with him. It’s very interesting and very scary, because the investigation concerns Didrik’s father. Life seemed to jump to the side. And there are no guarantees that he won’t jump even further when everything becomes clear.
