The novel “MburuvichA” is about former Russian officers of the White armies who, after the civil war in Russia, lost their homeland. In the early 30s of the twentieth century, more than a hundred Russian families, in search of a better life, arrived from Europe to Paraguay. In 1932, a war breaks out between Paraguay and Bolivia over the Northern Chaco. The small, untrained and poorly armed Paraguayan army is doomed to defeat. Paraguay is on the verge of disaster. And then former Russian officers who had combat experience in the Great and Civil Wars come to his aid. The novel is written on the basis of documentary materials available to the author.
