The book of stories and fairy tales “Mirror Labyrinth” by St. Petersburg writer Irina Rogaleva is addressed to teenagers who are outwardly so self-confident, but extremely vulnerable and defenseless inside. The author honestly shows the complex world of a modern teenager, so often hidden from parents and adults. Entangled in the networks of double standards, substitution of concepts, streams of outright lies pouring from the media, our children lose their bearings, go into virtual worlds, wander through the “mirror labyrinth” in search of a way out and sometimes, not finding it, remain there forever. Irina Rogaleva was awarded a medal for winning the All-Russian Orthodox Literary Competition named after the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in the “Book for Children” category in 2010.
