The Incredible Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage. The (almost) true story of the first computer

(for all gadgets)
(including for Apple and Android)
Meet two Victorian geniuses: Ada Lovelace - mathematician, avid gambler, proto-programmer, daughter of Lord Byron, and Charles Babbage - eccentric but unsuccessful inventor.
Read in 1842 a description of Babbage's plans for a giant computing machine , Lovelace added comments to this work - they turned out to be three times longer than the original text. Her notes contain the first programming ideas - and this was a hundred years before the creation of the computer! Unfortunately, Lovelace died of cancer ten years after publishing her observations, and Babbage never built his machine.
But don't despair! "The Incredible Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage" is a graphic novel about an alternate universe where our heroes completed their machine. They use it to overcome crazy economic crises, fight the scourge of spelling errors, explore the limits of mathematics and, of course, fight crime - for the benefit of London and science!
This comic is full of interesting historical facts (which are accompanied by references to real documents) and twisted diagrams of Babbage's steam computer. An exciting and extremely unusual fantasy read.
