The book takes place on a planet that is a satellite of another, giant planet, the influence of which imposes certain restrictions on life. In order to overcome them, an organization has been created that is engaged in growing personality models in a computer system. In the future, these personality models are used to grow real people. The strong and variable fields of the giant planet do not allow the human mind to develop independently. As a result of a carelessly completed experiment, this system was infected with artificially created predatory creatures with enormous capabilities. The events in the real world described in the book take place within one day. In the computer world, 50 years pass during this time. After writing the work, I learned about such a phenomenon as the Karadag snake. There are certain parallels between the descriptions of the Crimean phenomenon and the capabilities of artificially created creatures.
