The vast majority of books written on practical psychology and psychotherapy implement the concept of adapting each person to generally accepted standards of behavior and worldview. The individual uniqueness of a person, which violates the harmony of his relationships with others, is classified as an anomaly that should be uncompromisingly eliminated. As a result, in society, the bearers of the most pronounced individuality find themselves under total pressure, forming an inferiority complex in them and forcing them to violate their nature in order to remake themselves into average templates. This book implements a completely different approach to resolving the conflict between the originals and the faceless majority of society, called the crowd . Firstly, it solves the problem of mental rehabilitation of individual uniqueness in worldview and life practice. It is explained to the reader quite reasonably that one should not only not be ashamed of one’s dissimilarity from others, but, on the contrary, consider it as one’s psychological dignity, which needs further development. Secondly, this book offers the reader a set of practical recommendations aimed at constructively resolving or smoothing out conflicts in his relationships with other people. Thirdly, the book contains consideration of some ways and means of productive and realization of one's individual identity. And finally, fourthly, the book offers for discussion a somewhat original view of some of the problems of modern society related to this topic, and options for overcoming them.
