Lidiya Davydovna Chervinskaya (1906, according to other sources 1907-1988) was, along with Anatoly Steiger, a prominent representative of the “Parisian note” in emigrant poetry. She managed to very subtly, piercingly and honestly convey the atmosphere of Russian Montparnasse, the tragic worldview of the “unnoticed generation”. This publication includes in full all three of L. Chervinskaya’s lifetime collections of poems (“Approaches”, 1934; “Daybreaks”, 1937; “Twelve” months" 1956), prose, notes and reviews, as well as numerous reviews of her contemporaries about her work. Notes: 1. The publication was prepared by Viktor Kudryavtsev and Sergey Kovner. Since the “publishing house” can safely be called “semi-underground”, the circulation of books in the “Silver Ash” series is usually from 10 to 20 copies.2. The section “Poems not included in collections and other editions” is missing in the paper edition.
