Wilson Fisk - the Kingpin - has returned to New York and claims that he has changed, becoming an altruistic entrepreneur. Spider-Man knows him too well and doesn't believe in his charity, but he can't uncover the scheme through which the criminal can become virtually untouchable. On top of everything else, a doppelgänger in a Spider-Man costume and with the same abilities begins to wreak havoc on the streets of New York! A young scientist struggles to combine work in an advanced laboratory and a burdensome second career—fighting crime. Will a real superhero be able to prove his innocence?
