In the distant past, the world was shocked by the roar of the hooves of four horses, whose riders heralded the apocalypse. Centuries have passed since humanity, having made a fatal mistake, fell from its pedestal. And now the phrase “king of nature” sounds like a mockery addressed to the survivors, or rather, the survivors. Technologies are lost, knowledge is forgotten, but people desperately cling to life and again build cities and states, reclaiming the land from the darkness that has obscured the world. Piece by piece, to the ringing of consecrated bells, they defend their possessions; with cleansing fires and the ringing of knightly swords, they protect their home from the darkness creeping into it.
