Marinka is twelve years old, and she really wants to finally have friends. Real ones, not a hut on chicken legs. Of course, you can play catch and hide and seek with her, but a living person, you see, is much better! Alas, it is impossible to find a friend when your house does not stand still, and your grandmother, or rather Baba Yaga, escorts the dead to the other world every night. Marinka should become the next Yaga, but she knows for sure that this is not her destiny. Her destiny is in the world of living people. Following her desires, one day she discovers that her beloved grandmother has disappeared somewhere, the dead no longer come to the hut, and the Great Life Cycle has been disrupted. Marinka decides: she needs to find her grandmother, even if it means going to the world she was so afraid of - where souls fly...

Книга "Хатинка на курячих ніжках" вразила мене своєю оригінальністю та глибиною. Книга залишає після себе відчуття надії і віри в дружбу, а також нагадує про важливість родинних зв'язків. Рекомендую всім, хто любить казки з глибоким змістом!
