1990s Life is not easy for people in the “new” Russia. Everyone is trying to get settled, not to get lost, to somehow make ends meet. Dan was lucky: he managed to occupy a reliable niche in the foreign exchange business. Large sums pass through his hands; currency sellers and buyers, couriers and personal security guards work for him. And his personal life is gradually getting better: his beloved girl finally reciprocated Dan’s feelings. It seems that complete happiness is just around the corner...
