"Realizing that we are talking about the first publication of this kind in the country, we tried to put as much information as possible on its pages, to tell what was left unsaid, crossed out, forgotten during the 25 years of Soviet rock music. Not everything in the publication is perfect - that’s why it is the first. For a number of regions, it was not possible to obtain strict data on rock life in the 60s and 70s. Russia (in particular, the South and the Black Earth Region) in general, unfortunately, remained blank spots on our map of Soviet rock. There are no convincing materials yet about the psychological, sexual, managerial and some other aspects of the existence of the genre, about the instrumental and technical arsenal of rock groups.
