This work, for the first time in Russian, presents in a systematized form all the main legal positions reflecting European standards in the field of human rights, developed over more than fifty years of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, as well as the mechanism based on it of the European Court, the compulsory jurisdiction of which is recognized by the Russian Federation.
