Detective, but rather a thriller. It has two storylines with two main characters: one begins in a forced labor colony and traces the adventurous story of a prisoner who declared himself an infiltrated KGB agent (the idea of the plot, by the way, is based on real events that occurred in a provincial colony in the late 80s) ; the other reveals a picture of a crime disguised as the suicide of an underground businessman, and the everyday life of investigator Elena Yasnova, trying to find the ends of a complicated story. The heroes, as one would expect, will meet at the climax. This is the fourth work in a series of five detective stories by this author. Each book is a separate case, investigated by the main characters - law enforcement officers, investigators, a mother and her daughter: Tatyana Obrucheva and Elena Yasnova. Contains obscene language.
