The darling of society.

They don’t know that I am something much more.

I was only ordered to hide her and protect her.

After everything she has experienced, I am the last person who can offer her comfort and care.

I still have little experience in this. We are both broken by our past.

But mine is creeping up on me, and I will deal with it the way it usually is: with absolute destruction.

But this puts her in the crosshairs, which is unacceptable.

Old wounds are being opened for both of us, and it's time to face the darkness, or it will never find the light.
