These Upanishad rishis lived in life, but on a completely different basis, emanating from a completely different center. They said, “Life is good, life is a blessing, letting the waves ripple is a game, a beautiful game worth playing. If God has given you such an opportunity, play it wholeheartedly. But don't identify yourself with it.” Remember, this is a game. Remember, the earth is nothing but a drama, a great drama, and you are nothing but actors. Remain inside as witnesses and continue to play. There is no need to run away from action. Even thinking in terms of leaving shows that you are afraid, and fear cannot take you anywhere, only love can do that. These rishis loved life. They loved everything that life had to offer, they loved everything as a blessing, and there are millions of such blessings in life. They never said that life is dukkha, they never said that life is suffering. They said that you can turn life into suffering, but life is not suffering. You can make her blissful, it depends on you, not on life.
