"The Mystery of the Puzzle" is the first part of a trilogy describing the adventures of five boys, members of the Swift Arrows club. This novel was first published in the children's magazine "Crier". It was published in parts, as a supplement to the magazine, from 1940 to 1941. When, after the release of all parts, it became clear that the novel was a huge success among readers, Jaroslav Foglar decided to release the book, which was published in the same year, 1941. This was followed by reprints, comics, TV series and films based on this novel. This is not surprising, because the adventures of the guys from the “Swift Arrows” club while investigating the mystery hidden in one puzzle are so exciting!
