“The Map of the Sky” is the second part of the “Victorian trilogy” by the Spanish writer Felix Palma, which began with the novel “The Map of Time”. Both books take place in London in the 19th century, an era of great scientific discoveries that pushed the boundaries of the possible and inspired people with the idea that their wildest dreams and hopes could come true, and the fantastic plots of the novels by H.-J. Wells - to be part of reality and give impetus to the development of extraordinary and dizzying events, which involve both the writer himself and people from his inner circle, as well as many real historical characters. Each book of the trilogy is based on one of Wells’s novels, for the first two it is "The Time Machine" and "War of the Worlds", for the third part, "Maps of Chaos", the fulcrum will be "The Invisible Man". Felix Palma's novels have been translated into 25 languages and have taken first lines on bestseller lists in many countries. “The Map of Time” was awarded the Ateneo de Seville Prize in Spain.
