The book, named after the line by Vladimir Vysotsky “Thank you, my correspondents...” is the result of many years of work by archivist and high-society scholar Lev Chernyak. For many years he met and continues to meet with people who knew Vladimir Semenovich, with his friends and colleagues, took detailed interviews with them, reconstructing Vysotsky’s life day by day and hour by hour. The third part of the book contains interviews from different years, telling about various episodes of Vysotsky’s life and work, including memories of his last tour in Kaliningrad. The publication was carried out with the financial support of the Siberian Fund for Perpetuating the Memory of Vladimir Vysotsky.
