Книга "Золоті поля" вразила мене своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно зобразив контраст між красою природи Індії та жорстокістю людської природи, що робить сюжет ще більш захоплюючим. Двоє молодих англійців, Джек і Нед, представляють собою дві сторони однієї монети: один — харизматичний ловелас, інший — чесний і відданий друг.
