It’s not for nothing that they say that any miracles are possible on New Year’s Eve. Just imagine: you decide to buy a goose to bake it in honor of the holiday. And when he defrosted, he turned out to be... a real giraffe! This is exactly what happened at the home of Professor Maximilian Farr-Transformatsky, whose family will be discussed in this book. His grandchildren Glasha and Grisha place a giraffe in their nursery and give him a completely human name - Fedya. At first, their new spotted friend feels just fine in a city apartment. But it soon becomes clear: the giraffe is growing very quickly and after some time it will no longer fit anywhere. But if only this! Fedya also gets sick - right before the New Year. On top of that, they want to take the giraffe to the zoo... The author of the story “About the Giraffe Fedya” Natalya Nusinova is a Doctor of Art History, a leading employee of the Research Institute of Cinematography of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. She taught in Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, and published more than 250 articles on the history of Russian and French cinema. He writes books for children, one of which, “The Adventures of Dzherik,” was published not only in Russia, but also in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
